It just means that I don't want compressed .mp3. Keep it .wav! Smile

Despite the fact I do nothing of the sort, I'm going to put my name down for this and send something in. It will be fun to play with noises, right?

I might be able to participate this year... if I don't get lost in a crazy space time continuum...

I'm currently working on some new tracks which will be either garlic.wav or something else... I might still be able to contribute a garlic.wav track though.

For anyone that cant send Wav files.. this freeware program can convert WAV to FLAC ... it also converts to other formats.. basically, it is a really useful set of tools for any sound or video editor to have in their arsenal.. (don't be put off by the name of the software as it isn't directed entirely at video editing peoples)..

http://www.dvdvideosoft.com/free-dvd-video-software.htm

I hope that helps.. Smile

p.s. if one were so inclined, they could download youtube videos or convert youtube videos to mp3's etc with this software..

I'm awfully busy with work this month. Start of the winter semester here is rather bumpy and one of my own classes is not going the way I wanted it to. It should get a bit better by the end of this week, though.

I still want to do something for this.

And I fixed my capslock.
Very Happy

Well now I'm fucked due to a torn calf, so need to find more remote work for the next six weeks which probably means I won't be able to find time for this. Fucksticks.

Just thought of something. How about a little twist to the usual compilation?

Let's say we choose five different, christmas-related samples and you have to use at least one in your track. What do you guys think?

I like it, especially because I have a few tracks basis and I was thinking "what Christmas-related sample could I add?" Very Happy

let me live a bit with my recording and if I'm still happy with it after a few days, you'll get it next week-end.

I didn't think I'd be able to do anything, but I got a track in the works now.

Regular Avalanchers Xmas album listeners will be relieved to hear I have avoided both comedy & melody - neither of which are my strong points - and gone back to old-school methods.

Good, otherwise I wouldn't have a chance to do anything useful. My intended collaborator is, by nature, sneaky and evasive.

Combined with my own lazyness, this is not very profuctive. Very Happy

Thanks, got the Chuter and Brokentiny tracks Smile
I'm still missing 11 entries so try making it before next Friday

@Bleed Dry Mankind
If it's too big even for Mediafire try encoding it to FLAC!
