For the Philly cats, the venue is on 1200 callowhill.
Regis is also on the bill. |

So Justin safely made it into the country without any visa issues?
I'm seeing them on Wednesday. Really, really excited to see them because I finally have fallen in love with the new album and I'm sure they'll be playing a bunch of songs from it on the new tour. Long live the New Flesh! |

I was wondering the same thing. The tour isn't even on setlist.fm so no help there. I hope we hear a lot of the new album.... |

Setlist.fm just posted this set list from last night in D.C.:
New Dark Ages
Deadend
Shut Me Down
Life Giver Life Taker
Carrion
Towers of Emptiness
Christbait Rising
Streetcleaner
Spite
Crush My Soul
Encore:
Like Rats
I'm psyched to see Life Giver Life Taker on there, it's one of my favorites on the new one along with New Dark Ages, Deadend and Towers of Emptiness. |

I too enjoy Life Giver Life Taker a great deal. Am bummed that I won't be able to make it to the Portland show. That limited tee is nice. |

The NYC show was fun last night. The set list was the same as the one above. The new songs were good, along with the oldies. Myself, Klawful and Dave attended. The sound was clean but some spontaneity would have been nice. JKB didn't even utter a single word to the audience.
Earlier on I got a chance to chat to Benny. Surprisingly he told me that they still haven't been paid for the soundwave festivals they played in Australia earlier this year.
The limited shirt sold out last night, I didn't end up buying any merch. |

Hah! Its been that way since 1991. Granted you have alot more freedom using a laptop than you do with a DAT machine but for all we know hes just got a playlist setup in iTunes for the backing tracks. |

Cleveland show was amazing. Similar set list as previous dates.
JKB and Benny chatted with me and my girlfriend for a while after the show. First time I've met them. Truly nice guys. Found out the unmarked black pedal with 3 knobs in Justin's setup is a pedal Paul Barker made and gave to him. It seemed to sound similar to the Malekko Diabolik..... Sound was amazing. Great evening. |

Damn, how come the guy doing the filming somehow missed Klaw and Boyd stage diving while holding hands in nothing but their underpants during Christbait? |

How does the Detroit area show get cancelled the night before due to supposed "scheduling conflicts"? I've been waiting for this one to happen for 20 years! |

Rumor is the club cancelled it due to low advance ticket sales. But when the day of show tickets are actually advertised as cheaper than the advance tickets when you factor in surcharges what did they expect? I just planned on showing up and paying at the door like i do at 99% of GA shows. Anyways i won't be hitting that venue again anytime soon. If this was a few years ago and i didn't have a kid I'd be driving to Chicago right now to catch them with Lead Into Gold. That show will be amazing. |

Lead Into Gold as Paul Barker. he's releasing the old Low & Slow unreleased EP, playing this one-off show at Coldwaves. There's a new LIG LP in the works.
As for the venue - apparently it was double booked with Father John Misty playing the same night.
Still, I've seen some great shows at the Crofoot, but that really pissed me off. |

Misty was at the Royal oak Music Theatre that night. But they are affiliated with the Crofoot in some way as they were advertising the Misty show on their website.
Someone on FB posted that they only sold 100 or so presale tix and that GF was supposed to get 4k. So the club/promoter killed it the day before. And due to contract or whatever GF was not allowed to book at any of the other venues that had no shows that night (smalls, and whatever the magic stick is called now). Oddly that and all of the posts regarding it were just deleted off of JKB's FB page so who knows what happened really. The club and JKB probably just came to some sort of agreement that worked out for both of them. |
