Another quality print. I myself am very tempted to buy Godmachine's Glow in the dark Lo Pan print.

oh wow--that's great.
Bottleneck gallery--the place that was selling Ferguson's ST print--is having a run of Drew Struzan's original poster art for Big Trouble available on their site tomorrow. Is it some kind of anniversary for the film?
Struzan is that guy who did all those movie posters for Star Wars, Indianna Jones, Back to the Future, etc etc. you'd likely recognize his style if you saw it. he was the go-to dude for lucas and speilberg for a good run |

Just checked it out. It's the classic poster I remember from back in the day. Good to see some originals being reprinted. |

Doom--watched the first couple of VP episodes Pretty damn funny.. I didn't expect it to ramp up as quickly as it did--some of the stuff in episode 2 i would of figured for a season closer. I half expect the school to blow up next episode. |

Recently finished Rome - another solid HBO drama, highly recommended.
Watched most of the 1st season of Fargo, rather disappointed, show tries so hard, but mostly average writing drags it down. |

Both Vice Principals and the Night Of are on my list to watch. Currently watching Leah Remini's Scientology show and the Grand Tour (which is very hit and miss).
Oh and I need to get on the latest season of Rectify as that is probably the best show I've seen in years. |

That Scientology show is bizarre shit...My sister lives in Clearwater(ground zero for Scientologists)...I visited her and the downtown area is just fucking insane...those fuckers all walk around looking exactly the same...it's like everyone in that area is in the cult and it feels like it....we went to a local restaurant and the lady told us they all come in there for lunch every day and make a fucking mess and treat the staff like shit...and if you go to the church and take pictures someone will come down from the church and ask you what you are doing and follow you around...the whole thing is just weird,man...very strange vibe at that place... |

Totally creepy,dude...
I have seen Going Clear...pretty much the definitive statement regarding the cult...those propaganda rally videos are totally nuts...fucking Tom Cruise rallying the troops while wearing his fucking special medal around his neck...what a tool...
and I love that to be a member of sea org they make you sign a BILLION year contract....hahahahaha... |

Yup, written by Jonathan Ames, who also wrote Bored to Death. It's weird but very funny. |

It took me a few times to get into Bored to death but once it clicked I liked it a lot. YOu should definitely check out Blunt talk then, although it's apparently not renewed for a 3rd season.
The Green Room was very good. Have you seen the director's previous movie Blue Ruin? Well worth it too. |

Some decent new TV shows:
The Deuce. The Wire meets Treme in seventies porn New York.
The Orville. Seth McFarlane goes space. Last few episodes were supringingly good (as he didnt write them..)
Back - The same people as Peep Show. Dark, funny and touching.
Blood Drive - Sadly cancelled. Silly grindhouse entertainment.
Mindhunter - Serial killers. Binge watched all 10 episodes recently. Pretty good.
Also enjoying new Curb and South Park

Everyone should watch it, it's the best tv series in years. |
