I recently moved from a building that was not really in a topnotch condition - mould, yes, phraoh ants and all kinds of nice things.
The building will be now repaired by the city more or less - to be used as an elderly home. How wonderful that the worst, cheapest buildings can be used like this. =/
Anyway - I had some fun - and actually really much fun in this empty house after all residents had moved, including myself. How? Let's just say that I left myself an...option to come back and check the building...
To my surprise - all apartments were empty, as expected - but - that all the doors were left wide open, as the ovens were removed and stacked outdoors.
So, I took some pics in that empty building, and went nuts with certain friend in one of the apartments.. ; )
But anyway...I decided to start a thread were we can all, once again, show off our silly pics, I'll post few now and then. Here's few from the empty building, more of others later.
At some nights I really dig light pollution. ; )
More all sorts of pics later on... |

Fucking great stuff! As usual Hiba. Keep it up. I really like the spiral staircase one and the windows one right before the light pollution one. |

Fantastic work. I've always said you had a natural eye Markku, and that you need to take more photos. Build up a strong portfolio and get your shit out there. |

Last spring I moved into a 100 year old one-room schoolhouse. It underwent extensive renovation and now has a contemporary living area complete with a loft. Except the cellar, which has mildew encrusted walls and a rather overpowering stench. I should make it a point to take a lawn chair down there and listen to my new Final CD's when they arrive.

I've been taking photos with my poor-quality phone camera for a while now. I shall now inflict some on you lot, since you asked...
One for the TG fans (this is an actual factory near Stalybridge):
Inspired by Richard Moult's art:

JMA - I'm using Canon 300D with it's kit lens - and yea, Photoshop CS 2. Hope it's not too obvious.
And Gray - thanks. I'll try to make some sort of a portfolio in some point once I get my lazy ass on it.
Glad you guys like my stuff. (Klaw - I'll tell of the new place in more detail later. : ) )
Cool pics, I love those cellar stairs!
Here's a frozen car.

I feel the urge to copy and paste Justin Broadrick (from the pic from the Heartache CD where he poses in front of the field of flowers) in the 2 first pictures of chickenf1sh (first set), haha.
And yes, I was also wondering about the brick building in the other pic. It looks like the building is sinking into the grass or something. Strange.
Interesting photos from everyone tho! Keep them coming! |

Firstly, --> Isind, that picture was taken at St. Thomas last summer. I liked St. Croix better though...
And now for a continuation of the nhtp tourist theme: Let's do NEW ZEALAND!!
Btw, there's a house underneath those wicked windy trees... |

These "messy" tombstones in Kontra's third photo definitely ring a bell to me, but I can't think of where I've seen them before.
I was thinking of a record cover at first, but I'm now wondering if the place wasn't the setting for a photo shoot for some band in a magazine many years ago...
Any idea anyone?
Another (totally unrelated to the comments above) underwater pic:

Can't remember seeing them in any photo shoot, but it wouldn't surprise me. The photo is of the Jewish cemetary in Prague |

I've liked all of the pics I've seen so far.
Out from the GRIMM woods...
to the river...
I've always had a soft spot for breakwaters.
