From a JKB posting on the Roadburn event page on Facebook, when asked when Godflesh are coming to the US (specifically the west coast):
"We are coming to the US for a mini tour in October, dates to be released soon, but I can tell you that we are doing 4 shows on the West Coast!"

Most death metal milk float ever.
If Godflesh doesn't tour anywhere near me I will be pissed.
The likelihood of Godflesh touring somewhere near me - slim! |

The NYC show track list should be streetcleaner and selfless in full with cold world and slateman to finish the show |

Schedule permitting, I'll probably go to NYC as well. Going to Baltimore last year was worth every cent, and then some. |

Hopefully you won't be hungover like you were last weekend when you skipped the Bug show
Justin said it's only 8 dates. I'd say NYC, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Austin, Chicago and DC, and maybe Portland (to round up the 4 West coast dates?) |

TIM is in the process of retreating to the far, far north as part of his ongoing withdrawal from civilization. Accordingly, while he may emerge for a Godflesh-related event, the crazed barbarian gleam in his eye will only grow stronger, and barrels of mead and the carcasses of many animals will be consumed upon his arrival.

It's too bad Justin views Selfless as a retarded child. I mean, I can hope, but I think the setlist will consit of Streetcleaner material, maybe some Pure, and all new stuff. |

Crush My Soul and Bigot been on the setlist quite often. Unfortunately, Justin views Us and Them as a retarded child. Although, he liked the idea of playing live some of the brilliant LAHID material. we'll see. |

That's sad. It has some of their best songs on it. It starts off great, has filler in between the title track and Bittersweet, but from Bittersweet and on it's their best work since Merciless.
Did I just give Merciless props? Never seen anyone else on here do it. |

Funny how folk have different views. For me U&T is fantastic up until Defiled, where it tails off into nothing of any real note. The last two tracks (assuming Live to Lose at the end) are alright but don't really fit the album's vibe.
Still:
I, Me, Mine
Us and Them
Endgames
Witchhunt
Whose Truth Is Your Truth
Damn fine run there. |

i'd pay and drive up to 12 hours away to see/hear Us and Them in its entirety with a couple or three tracks apiece from everything else as the set. as solid/almost as solid as the others depending on which one. |

NYC date most likely 10/18, with the tour running until 10/29, according to JKB on facebook. No formal announcements of dates/venues yet, though. |

Definitely. For me, 'Us & Them' is "I, me, mine" and "The Internal", with too many forgettable tracks inbetween. |

There is a 70 - 80% chance I will be at the NY show at least.
The chance to see them play Selfless is not to be missed. |

Matt, there is another big surprise for you (godflesh-related but not quite)... probably by the end of the day.

(Actually, I look forward to seeing all you folks again. Except Darwin. Well, okay, even Darwin.) |
