Fobofile Productions is proud to announce its second album release "FATHERS OF OUR FLESH." An uncompromising tribute to the heroes of industrial metal GODFLESH --- 13 Bands / 80 minutes of harsh sounds and devastating perdition - out at the end of April on cd and Lp.

First confirmations: GNAW, OMEGA MASSIF, NADJA, OVO.

Don't know the exact tracklisting yet, but Nadja covered "Go Spread Your Wings" and I think OvO did "Like Rats"...

Others include Maruosa, Knut, Wormed and Transitional... There's also a 'mixtape tribute' with little information on it coming up on a Malaysian label Maternal Disaster: https://www.facebook.com/maternaldisaster666

Note the plus sign. I'm suggesting the two albums together are greater than Streetcleaner on its lonesome...but taken individually, it's a different story. How's that for waffling on an issue...

The label posted an artist confirmation on 29.4 and they've been silent ever since...

Nice!

Order through email works fine. I did that last week and the man got back to me fast.

CD is 15,- € + postage.
Vinyl 18,- € + postage.

The Vinyl Features a shorter version of the Nadja track. It seems a whole minute of feedback has been cut. An outrage!!!1!!!1!!

Shocked

They could have at least released an additional 7'' featuring the missing one-minute-feedback on side a and a remix of the feedback by Justin on side b.

My copy arrived on friday.

As with most tribute albums it's a bit of hit and miss. Allthough the majority of the stuff is really good. A lot of the bands managed to make the tracks sound like it's one of their own, which is always a sign of a good cover.

My highlights so far: Knut, Eagle Twin and Ovo.

Slightly off Topic. Omega Massif are history. The new band is called Phantom Winter. Soundwise it's very similar, but I have a vocalist now.

First gig outside their hometown in Würzburg will be in Nürnberg on Jan. 31st with an exceptionally shitty local supoort act.
