Hmm. I don't listen to much doom styled stuff these days but that Warhorse clip is pretty fucking good.
Gonna spin this Ghold album now. Since it's here at all... |

Great as usual! Thanx a lot!
What are your sources if it's not too nosey of me?
I mean, I consider myself to be a pretty good digger but most of the stuff on this thread I've never heard of. |

All good man. It’s getting harder. A lot of the forums I used to get recommendations from have closed down. So now I check who has been touring with bands I like (mainly via Facebook) and I also checkout their record labels etc. If I find a band I like, I’ll see what other bands they have been in or associated with. The other one I find sometimes works is Youtube suggestions when you watch a video. I guess the main thing is that I am a shiftworker in IT so I get a lot of downtime to go through piles of crap before I find a gem. |

Shining examples :

Lord Of Tigers: s/t
Whores: both EPs

So, heavy as fuck please
Thank you |
Man, in my personal opinion... the heaviest riffage that I know made by men came from heavy rock 70's tube amp bands, stuff like this:

I really love that sound.

I actually forgot about this until recently but on a guitar orientated forum I used to frequent there was also a "heaviest ever band" and it had a poll:
