I only have 'the stars are so bright...' which is such a strong album and is really unique - I don't know why I never got more by them... I guess I always felt like they were one of those bands that are so distinct where one album can be enough. I'll definitely seek out this ep now though.

been completely obsessed with their first two records. yeah this is before 'the stars are bright...' on some totally 'other' infantile getting plucked out of the primal psychosexual miasma kicking and screaming creepy shit.

and broadrick with the stunning lo-fi noise rock production job. apparently they recorded this at a kid's mental institution where a bunch of kids died. if they did, they got them on the recording.

Just been listening to Gash and Iron Lung. Good stuff -- didn't realize they had material like this, as it's quite different from their later releases, which is more Stereolab-ish. Didn't know JKB produced Iron Lung...interesting.

I like how they used to play live with the detritus of domestic life littered around - ironing board as a keyboard stand.

Such a great band. Interviewed them earlier this year actually. Matt from Pram was JKB's Godflesh guitar tech way back in the day - I think they lived across the road from him.

I saw them play at the Charlotte in Leicester (20 years ago... oh my gawd) and was really disappointed because the drums didn't sound like pots and pans recorded on a dictaphone, they sounded like proper rawk drums.
