That's a pretty impressive list that elric has assembled there...my favorite album of the year was Fall of Hearts by Katatonia...also loved the new Dinosaur Jr and can't stop listening to the Black Love reissue by the Afghan Whigs....

That being said I can't wait for 2016 to be over...

Wilhelm - I don't disagree on Surgical Meth Machine!! It's pretty shit. Metallica got a reprieve only because I was expecting terrible and it was pleasantly decent.

I should have edited that one off... I did pull a few others I didn't think were solid enough (deftones - gore) and i could prolly pull that Bells Into Machines which is okay, starts strong ends weak IMO. I just list everything I acquire then edit it at the end of the year.

I got the NIN The Fragile: Deviations 1 last night and that's better w/o vocals too =)

Doomride - I didn't get that Afghan Whigs re-issue I'll have to hunt that down.

Yeah the Whigs re-issue has lot's of nice bonus stuff...flew to New Orleans a couple of weeks ago for a benefit show they did their for their guitar player who has inoperable cancer...it was an incredible show with cool guests like Mark Lanegan,Ani Difranco and others...they did all of Black Love and did 3 new songs from the upcoming album as encores...really emotional show...

There were a few early cuts on the Surgical Meth machine album that I liked but it goes downhill fast...

Most NIN is better without Trent's whiney emo vocals Razz I listened back to some earlier NIN and it's the vocals and lyrics that ruin it for me nowadays.

You're welcome.

Josh is a twonk, it's a low level insult we have adopted, apparently from Birmingham, England, Great Brexitland. It basically means that whoever is being insulted is displaying poor taste and general silliness, which is Josh all over.

Yeah if you are gonna post here you better get used to the word twonk....it gets used often seeing as there are several twonks of the lowest order who frequent this hallowed forum...one case in point is the twonk we refer to as the Yoga Pansy...he was just mentioned in the thread above this one...
