thought it would be cool to have this so andy can give us updates!

as some of you know he's now with bristol indie label invada, co owned by geoff "portishead" barrow.

personally i think the two entites go together like beer and hot wings geoff and paul obviously understand this sort of music and being as geoff is one of the patrons of the all tomorrow's parties festivals there is a open platform for iroha to play live to people who will get the music.

Nice. I have somehow skipped Iroha until now, but I will surely give it some more attention. The myspace tracks sound nice.

I listened to the myspace tracks last night and liked them. I'd like to hear them in high quality on cd now as myspace quality doesn't do them justice.

I think the vocals are buried too deep in the mix...that could be the quality though, but thats my only beef : get the vocals more upfront and this is fucking quality stuff.

hot wings / buffalo wings = chicken wings + hot sauce (as opposed to BBQ, unless it's HOT BBQ) usually served with Bleu Cheese or Ranch as a 'cool down'.

lol , don't get me wrong here I don't want to turn it into Aaron Turner here ,
Just a little bit more upfront would be ideal for me. But thats just my opinion.
Shoegaze or not Smile .

No, I didn't follow it up once there was interest elsewhere.

the more I listen the more I get into this. I think this is better than.... ahem Smile . The only track on myspace I don't like is the feat. MIO track, which gave me a reduced "Storm coming on" feel. The other tracks are all brilliant.

Agreed : we need a release , some shiny vinyl of sorts in multiple colors with sippy cups and bags.

Seriously, keep us posted .

Just to keep anybody up to date who's interested, the artwork is now complete and all the remixes are in - all three are awesome! The album's going off for mastering this week but not sure on release date.

I guess so although I've noticed the Invada shop site has been closed for a while now. I'll have more details in the next few days as I'm hoping to attend the mastering cut...

I'm not 100% sure - it's at a mastering suite in Bristol.

A quick note for those buying the record who live in the uk HMV in the bigger cities do stock invada records releases so you can get it from there.

It would've meant getting permission/publishing sorted with Buzzcocks. I might see if I can get something sorted for some sort of EP release for it...
