Superb gig last night. Satori were good. At the time I thought their set was a bit long but I think it's probably because I was standing uncomfartably after standing all day at work. I could've done with an armchair. I liked the parts where it was more BASSy and beat driven, it reminded me of Future Sound of London "ISDN" and some of the old Speedy J experimental live sets I've heard.
Atavist were great. Heavy as fuck and raw. Just the way I like it.
I'd only heard a couple of Nadja tracks on myspace so I wasn't sure what to expect. I was impressed. The sound they get out of a guitar and a bass (and of course the drum machine) is incredible. The sound system in Henry's didn't do them justice though but thats probably true for all 3.
Overall I liked Atavist the best.
Cheers Nick for putting on awesome gigs. |

Thanks Greg!
The PA at Henry's is actually not bad, but they need subs to beef it up a bit - especially when bands are playing straight through it i.e Satori, Nadja.
Nadja set was quite ambient, which i liked alot! |
