Yeah, season premiere of Breaking Bad was a scorcher. The clip from Walking Dead was just a few moments of graphic violence... Which reminds me that I still gotta finish season 1!

I really hated the last two seasons, but it IS getting better with every episode this season.... but yeah, show has lost a lot of its lustre.

I come back here to find this blasphemy....!!!!You guys are fucking nuts...Breaking Bad is the best thing on television by a long shot...it is so filled with tension and such cineamatic wonder...and the character development and acting is throught the roof...this season is outstanding and so high quality...

Watched the new Sons of Anarchy premeire...excellent 90 min episode....look forward to season 4 finally being here...

I have to got to a friends house to watch any shows since my tv got ripped off when they broke into my house...still havn't gotten a new one... Sad

yeah I do think this season is getting better with every episode (unfortunately it's almost over). But I'm getting to the point where, I'm wondering when is it going to end, never good Smile.

Want to hear some real blasphemy? I went against your advice and watched Big Love Season 5.
Though I have to say, some story arks were so so annoying, I had expected it to be much worse. Chloe Sevigny single-handedly saved the last season for me. The ending: well let's say the writers got themselves off easily...very easy ending leaving pretty much all political / moral debate to the side.

I do think polygamy in real life, is a lot worse than portrayed in this series...

Not seen Luther but heard good things about it.

Season opener of SoA was pretty good, but not as amazing as the openers for the last few seasons. Looking promising though.

Man this season of tv is gonna be lame..
Most of my favorite shows it turns out are all going to be on fucking sunday at 9pm.
Boardwalk Empire, Dexter, Walking Dead, and the whole Children's Hospital, Delocated, NTSF:SD:SUV, Eagleheart block on Adult Swim..
At least Boardwalk Empire gets reshown throughout the week and the Adult Swim I can pass on but man.. Dexter vs Walking Dead.. Thats gonna be a tough choice!

I can watch the ones on the HD channels 3 hours early and then catch something on the regular one when its actually on.. WINNING WITH CABLE TV!!!!
Either way I broke my fucking glasses in half last night anyways so I aint watching shit! (Im typing with the laptop right in front of my face to read it hah)

Second series was way too short though, only 4 episodes. Hopefully they'll get the money to do a third

And @newbornbabyjesus I'm with you on that one

Just finished season 4 of THE WIRE.

Epic win. I assume that it is very realistic no?

Can't wait to get season 5...

yeah--I liked Luther... It's a little jolting after being used to him from the Wire--were the top notch writing is behind his character--this show being closer to your standard "shocker" modern cop show--but yeah, comparing it to the Wire, which it isn't intended to be, obviously, is the wrong way to go about it....

SPOILER?

the psycho girl is both laughable and great.

Unlike the new american dad which was incredibly unfunny. Really enjoying SoA as well.

Breaking bad has evolved into probably the best season yet after a very slow start and a slightly poorer third season! Can't wait for the last episode now (next week season finale right?).

First episode of Boardwalk Empire was...weird. Not much to say yet after this episode. It will probably need another episode or two to get me fired up again (as was the case with this season of BB).

Is the next one the finale...awww fuck,I wish it would just keep going...this season has just been unreal...for me the show has never wavered,it just keeps building and building...

Gotta see Boardwalk soon...

Gonna check out 'Luther' on netflix...

Game of Thrones--having read all the books some years ago, I am pretty impressed how well the show nailed the look i imagined for the environments and characters. And I do like that Sean Bean.

Mono--yeah, the books aren't too sorcery-ish--and the show is cleaving very close to the books. It's fairly down to earth stuff for the fantasy genre. Nary a unicorn or elf in sight. There is some supernatural stuff, though--as seen in the first part of episode one.

I can't wait for more Game of Thrones!!! Fucking months and months away...

Sad

Yeah,me either...that season was such a tease...

I just saw a flick that Sean Bean is in called 'Black Death' and he looked very much like the character he played in Game of Thrones...don't know anything about it but will check it out since it streams on netflix..

don't bother with black death. It's not very good at all. If it wasn't for sean bean's good performance (indeed much like Ned Stark) I wouldn't have finished.

It promises to be a decent medieval semi-horror flick but really takes more than a few turns for the worse after......

I don't think I disliked the third season that much, but didn't love it as much as the first two...maybe you're right about the slow start to season four, though. I watched the first two, and enjoyed them, but for some reason haven't watched any others yet which seemed odd to me. Maybe I didn't realize how much they didn't grab me. Although that scene with Gus at the start of the season...wow. (I won't say anymore for those that haven't watched yet).
