I still love SoA...even in seasons that were less strong I've always found pleasure in watching those actors work...I love the music and the setting etc so whatever...I'm looking forward to seeing how it all gets wrapped up...

The penultimate episode of Boardwalk Empire was real good...they are rushing to the finish line...one more episode and it's over...

Love the new Walking Dead of course....

Looking forward to the last Boardwalk tonight.

And I'm a sucker for Bar Rescue. Especially when he uses hot female bartender experts.

Lats Boardwalk was great if a little rushed.
Satisfying ending.

SPOILERS!!!!!

Live by the Boardwalk, die by the Boardwalk...

The scene with Jillian in the nut house was fucking devastating stuff....and the scene with Al Capone and his kid was vulnerable and touching...and the scene with Nucky seeing television in the future tent was wonderfully symbolic...

It was a great ending to a great series...kinda left me feeling melancholy though...

Last weeks SOA.
Wtf? Even taking into account what happened to Tara, Jax becoming such an idiot is the most unbelievable thing to happen to a character in the show.

Yeah, I nearly gave up on this show, that 8th episode was so boring and unimportant... I just want to know when he'll find about Gema and how he'll react...

I'm still enjoying SoA and I have faith in Kurt Sutter that he will tie it all together...

Need to watch the new Walking Dead...

Still not really feeling SoA for some reason...

On a Graham Linehan binge at the moment, just finished Father Ted, now on Black Books.

Last SoA episode - the scenes with Abel and Wendy were brilliant and the ending too.
Everything that came before in this season was too dumb. Really annoyed with how they handled Bobby.

Father Ted - absolute genius. Anyone who grew up in Ireland will tell you that it's actually a documentary. Funny cos it's true Smile

Yeah the latest episode was a lot better than what came before.

Really enjoying Black Books again too, funnier than I remembered it to be.

Love/Hate
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1625724/

On season three now. Finally some decent Irish tv drama. Fairly grim gritty stuff focused on Dublins gangland.
Season one is a bit weak but it's only 4 episodes.

Well worth checking out.

I Think i'll be checking out love/hate. Thanks for the tip. I am going Dublin for the first time next year so it will be good to catch some shows based on or around the place.

Father ted was utterly hilarious, especially when i was growing up. One of the few shows, much like the first five years of the Simpsons where the whole of my family would agree how good it was.

New Sons of Anarchy was incredible...some of the best acting I've seen on tv...Peter Weller did a great job directing...some of those scenes were just so great...the extra time really allows the scenes to breathe...I love the space in the scenes...unlike others here I love this season and think it is all coming together nicely...so fuck you haters!!!! Very Happy

Gotta wait to weeks for the penultimate episode... Mad

Yeah, the last episode was brilliant, kinda redeemed the whole rather weak season.... great acting by Charlie Hunnam and Jimmy Smits
awesome scene where Nero finds out about Gemma's dirty secret
... with previous episodes I didn't like the idea of slowing pace, but here it works great - as Doomie said, the space allowed the scenes to breathe... can't wait for the last 2 episodes.

Ha Smile I saw the first few words of your post last week and have been avoiding this thread since.
Yeah - incredible episode. The scene with Nero/Gemma was intense and all the bits where Jax realises that the blood spilt is coming back on him are insane.
I still think it's been a weak season but it's gonna end really well by the looks of things.

Finished season 4 and 5 of Love/Hate.
Really great show.
Dunno how some of the language is gonna translate outside of Ireland though. Especially since a lot of the humour (blacker than black) is based around the Dublin slang.

I thought the last ep was pretty predictable. This wasn't the best season but not the worst either (that was the Oirish one for me). .

Yeah but it had to end that way...it played out the way it should have...it stayed true to the show...I loved it and I loved this season and I loved the series...I've never been more emotionally attached to characters like that for any show...I'm going to miss the show...my Tues nights will never be the same...

I totally agree. Episode 3 was particularly epic... Still haven't seen ep 5 but judging by the cliffhanger (and as affirmed by DoomBride) it promises to be a scorcher.

Two episodes into the new season of Justified and it looks like the final season will be totally solid.
