He's been consistently amazing from day 1 and I expect this to be no exception. Black Rain, GI Jane, Robin Hood... and many others. It's understandable that the masses are getting their engines revved to whet their masterpiece palettes on another tasty gem from this long standing virtuoso of contemporary cinema art.

I must admit that a trailer of a trailer is a bit of laughable concept.
Having said that, I watched it and maybe, just maybe, this could be the first pure science-fiction movie in, what, a decade that might actually be worth something.
I'm afraid that it will turn into a sort of Aliens spin-off, but without the actual aliens.
It's difficult to express in words how impossibly CORRECT this post is.... Another blow against the big goofy German person that we somehow manage to tolerate around here. Well done, Austro-Glaswegian.
Also, Blade Runner rules, so do a bunch of Ridley Scott flicks including Body of Lies (way underrated), Black Hawk Down, Gladiator (yeah, I said it), Alien and probably some others I'm forgetting.
Prometheus could be great, although I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much.

As far as Promethius is concerned I'm still very cautious about it. I am liking what I have seen so far but as usual am not getting my hopes up too much. This will float or sink on the strength of its script as far as I'm concerned.
